Navigating through change

I have been wondering about what it is that's going on since the start of the Corona virus time and been getting many different answers.

  • Health

  • Climate and environment

  • Fear, anxiety

  • Control, power

  • Love, connection

  • Change and letting go

  • Awakening

  • Relationships

  • Habits and behaviours

  • Ego (meaning a perception of self)

etc.

And as we are moving through, it is becoming clear that these are all true - it’s about everything!

The time 'before'

I would like to come back for a moment though, to the time before the Corona virus. And I wonder if this will become a milestone and we will refer to live as ‘before’ and ‘after ‘ the Coronavirus.

So, looking back we as individuals, communities and global society have been asking for changes. Changes in the climate and carbon reduction, changes of political systems, health systems, school systems. We have been asking for more happiness and joy and health too.

Did we know how to do it all and how to get there?

Not really - well we thought we didn’t. Things were moving but very slowly and in some areas looked more like patching, hiding or moving issues from one side to another.

While all of us knowing change is needed somewhere much deeper, at the core.

SO WE GOT HELP.

Now

And here we are today, just a few weeks in and all of what we have been longing for is happening – climate has improved in a few weeks more than years, nature is breathing again, governments need to be stepping up, we are finding ways how to connect and help each other and the whole society is finding a new way of functioning.

We are also being given an opportunity to look at what's holding us from happiness and joy but that's for another piece.

One caviat that surprised us all big times....

Did we expect that the changes we wanted would affect our personal lives and how we exist that much? Probably not to this level. But let’s remind ourselves that we wanted really huge changes to happen.

This is a really nice example of the tendency we sometimes have – asking or wishing for something but expecting it turn up in a certain way while it knocks on our shoulder from another direction…here I am, you called me.

In all honesty, did we really not know we need to reduce travelling, eat and consume sustainably, be present with people, use our inner knowing more and distract ourselves a bit less?

The truth is, we all new. Everything was here but we couldn’t make such a change ourselves so let’s be grateful for the opportunity and let's step into our power as creators of all of this and creators of everything coming out of this going forward.

We should pat ourselves on our back, because look – we thought we didn’t know how to solve all of those global challenges and how to change and now we are doing it! All of us, all together, we are creating new ways of existing, relating, functioning, being and systems are changing as a result of that too. Isnt' that exciting?

The time 'after'

For those who are hoping that things will come back to ‘normal’. Sorry, but they won’t – the normal is gone and we are creating the new normal, aligned with the new consciousness that is holding us and been doing so for a while.

Hence many of you might have had really turbulent few years as old things were falling apart already.

We are in the river of change. A river cannot go back, only forward. But be assured that the direction is right, all rivers go to the ocean.

And this is what each of us is essentially part of, as a drop. The irreplaceable unique drop, connected with the whole.

Sometimes I ask and wonder in curiosity how the new life is going to look like when the change is over.

The answer is change won’t stop and the new way of living won’t be presented to us as the thing to do now, we are all co-creating the new shape as we go.

We now have an opportunity to explore new ways of living, working, relating to each other, connecting, creating, ways we would not even consider before and yet they might be exactly what we have been looking for.

So how to navigate in all of this?

This is my view and we all can choose our point of view. Seeing a joy and empowerment in change is one option.

Seeing the situation from this perspective makes it a truly exciting time to be part of. We all can be the leaders of change.
